If you are going through a life transition and feeling anxious and overwhelmed, you are at the right place. I respect your courage to seek help. I believe that difficult situations and emotions involve a complex interplay of personal, familial, and cultural dynamics. It is wise to seek a safe and unbiased ally to help you access your own wisdom and resourcefulness.
I hold a master’s degree from Voronezh State University, and I am in the process of completing my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology through Pacifica Graduate Institute. I am licensed as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in WA and NV. I rely on evidence-based approaches of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you address the situation at hand. We can also venture into a more eclectic perspective grounded in depth psychology, where we will work on facilitating the process of re-discovering and compassionately accepting all aspects of the Self.
During our time together, we will endeavor to relieve and resolve complicated feelings, examining issues that get stuck or repeated throughout your life. At times, we will draw guidance and inspiration from nature, literature, philosophy, art, movement, and symbolic guidance of your dreams and life patterns. I have a specific interest in somatic psychology, which focuses on bodily signals of illness and distress, using specific symptoms to further understand one’s unique soul path and desires. On a larger scale, I am inspired by feminist theory, gender studies, postmodernism, multiculturalism, and Eastern thought. I am deeply committed to socially conscious approaches of multiculturalism, gender studies, and feminist theory.
